These awards are more than just a celebration; they are a platform to elevate local business stories, foster community pride, and inspire future economic growth.

Excellence in Retail

Community Contribution

Share details about your organization’s mission and the team behind it. What motivates you and your team to contribute to the community?

Provide a description of the community project or event, highlighting its purpose, activities, and the positive impact it has had.

Discuss the duration of the event or project and how it benefits the community. This could include improving local services, raising awareness for causes, or bringing people together.

Explain how the event or project was funded, whether through donations, grants, sponsorships, or community support.

Share any obstacles or challenges you faced during the planning or execution stages and how you overcame them.

Apprentice/Trainee of the Year

Describe the apprenticeship program you're participating in or the traineeship you are pursuing, including the industry, skills you're learning, and the path you're on.

Share the milestones you've reached in your apprenticeship or traineeship program. This could include overcoming challenges, mastering key skills, or receiving recognition from your mentors or employers.

Best New Business

Business Achievement

Share the challenges you’ve faced, whether financial, operational, or external factors, and how you navigated them to reach success.

Excellence in Customer Service - Personal

Explain the role you play in delivering exceptional customer service. Whether you’re in direct customer interaction or overseeing the team, highlight how you contribute.

Share your passion for customer service and how you go above and beyond to make customers feel valued, heard, and respected.

Provide a specific example of a time when you delivered outstanding customer service. This could be a problem you solved, a customer you helped, or a situation where you exceeded expectations.

Excellence in Customer Service - Business

Explain the role your business plays in delivering exceptional customer service. Highlight how your business consistently exceeds customer expectations. What internal training is involved in achieving customer service excellence?

Explain your customer service culture and how you go above and beyond to make customers feel valued, heard, and respected.

Provide a specific example of a time when the business delivered outstanding customer service. This could be a problem solved, a customer helped, or a situation where you exceeded expectations.

Agricultural Award

Share how your business supports the agricultural industry. This could include your approach to sustainable farming, supply chain management, or supporting local farmers.

Excellence in Sustainability

Explain how your sustainability practices align with commercial viability, ensuring both environmental and financial success.

Excellence in Hospitality & Tourism

Provide a description of your tourism-related business, whether it’s accommodation, travel experiences, tours, or event management.

Commercial & Industrial Business Excellence Award

Discuss how your business has evolved in the past few years, showing measurable growth in revenue, workforce size, or product/service offerings.
